Narrative:

Landing runway 13 while runway 22 also in use. We were asked to hold short of runway 22 and stopped abeam the runway sign. Tower instructed landing cessna on runway 22 to go around. Factors leading up to this were: after landing on runway 13, we were asked to back-taxi on runway 13, exit on taxiway G, hold short runway 22. (Note that I was expecting taxiway G to come before runway 22.) I asked for the after landing checklist while back-taxiing which put the first officer's head in the cockpit (won't do that again). Approaching runway 22 on taxiway 13, txwys exit to the right and all taxiway signs are on the right, so that is where I was looking for taxiway G, but there is no runway 22 sign on the right! It is only on the left! Runway 22 has an older, very different pavement than that of runway 13 making it appear as a taxiway at a glance. Thank goodness I looked left to clear and saw the runway 22 sign. Hard braking brought us to a stop abeam the sign as the tower instructed the cessna to go around.

Title: SAAB 340 FLC HAS RWY INCURSION.

Narrative: LNDG RWY 13 WHILE RWY 22 ALSO IN USE. WE WERE ASKED TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 22 AND STOPPED ABEAM THE RWY SIGN. TWR INSTRUCTED LNDG CESSNA ON RWY 22 TO GO AROUND. FACTORS LEADING UP TO THIS WERE: AFTER LNDG ON RWY 13, WE WERE ASKED TO BACK-TAXI ON RWY 13, EXIT ON TXWY G, HOLD SHORT RWY 22. (NOTE THAT I WAS EXPECTING TXWY G TO COME BEFORE RWY 22.) I ASKED FOR THE AFTER LNDG CHKLIST WHILE BACK-TAXIING WHICH PUT THE FO'S HEAD IN THE COCKPIT (WON'T DO THAT AGAIN). APCHING RWY 22 ON TXWY 13, TXWYS EXIT TO THE R AND ALL TXWY SIGNS ARE ON THE R, SO THAT IS WHERE I WAS LOOKING FOR TXWY G, BUT THERE IS NO RWY 22 SIGN ON THE R! IT IS ONLY ON THE L! RWY 22 HAS AN OLDER, VERY DIFFERENT PAVEMENT THAN THAT OF RWY 13 MAKING IT APPEAR AS A TXWY AT A GLANCE. THANK GOODNESS I LOOKED L TO CLR AND SAW THE RWY 22 SIGN. HARD BRAKING BROUGHT US TO A STOP ABEAM THE SIGN AS THE TWR INSTRUCTED THE CESSNA TO GO AROUND.
