Narrative:
Landed runway 12R at hou. While taxiing to the ramp on taxiway C, ground control cleared us to 'cross runway 22 at taxiway C, aircraft will hold position.' as we approached the runway, my first officer noticed the citation release brakes and begin takeoff roll on runway 22. I abruptly applied the brakes to stop beyond the hold short line and short of the runway edge paint as the citation rolled past. Ground then reclred us to the gate.

Narrative: LANDED RWY 12R AT HOU. WHILE TAXIING TO THE RAMP ON TXWY C, GND CTL CLRED US TO 'CROSS RWY 22 AT TXWY C, ACFT WILL HOLD POS.' AS WE APCHED THE RWY, MY FO NOTICED THE CITATION RELEASE BRAKES AND BEGIN TKOF ROLL ON RWY 22.
