Narrative:

Test flight for elevator rig. Procedure calls for switching off flight control and spoiler switches at FL350 creating a manual reversion. Upon turning off the switches, we experienced an immediate hard full nose-up pitch and altitude deviation. Recommend modification of maintenance procedure to initiate manual reversion at lower altitude and within a block of airspace with a printed warning of possible altitude deviation.
