Narrative:
After requesting my IFR clearance to lhz from lunken ground, I announced ready to taxi and was given a clearance to taxi to runway 21L, hold short of runway 21R at taxiway a. I proceeded down taxiway C and a different ground controller announced that she had my clearance and asked if I was ready to copy. I said that I was and took down the clearance. As I read back the clearance, I looked to the right and watched a ground crew bringing down a blimp about 300 yards down a runway off to my right. I assumed that my clearance took me to the approach end of runway 21R which in fact crosses taxiway a. After my readback, the controller pointed out that I had just crossed the end of runway 21R and had been given instructions to hold short of runway 21R. Although I was certain the instruction had been to hold short runway 21R at taxiway a, I apologized and decided to look at the taxiway diagram later. In the future, I will clarify crossing instructions at lunken, in particular where a clearance requires crossing a runway twice.

Title: BE55 PLT WAS DISTR BY A LNDG 'BLIMP' AND HAD A RWY INCURSION AT LUK.
Narrative: AFTER REQUESTING MY IFR CLRNC TO LHZ FROM LUNKEN GND, I ANNOUNCED READY TO TAXI AND WAS GIVEN A CLRNC TO TAXI TO RWY 21L, HOLD SHORT OF RWY 21R AT TXWY A. I PROCEEDED DOWN TXWY C AND A DIFFERENT GND CTLR ANNOUNCED THAT SHE HAD MY CLRNC AND ASKED IF I WAS READY TO COPY. I SAID THAT I WAS AND TOOK DOWN THE CLRNC. AS I READ BACK THE CLRNC, I LOOKED TO THE R AND WATCHED A GND CREW BRINGING DOWN A BLIMP ABOUT 300 YARDS DOWN A RWY OFF TO MY R. I ASSUMED THAT MY CLRNC TOOK ME TO THE APCH END OF RWY 21R WHICH IN FACT CROSSES TXWY A. AFTER MY READBACK, THE CTLR POINTED OUT THAT I HAD JUST CROSSED THE END OF RWY 21R AND HAD BEEN GIVEN INSTRUCTIONS TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 21R. ALTHOUGH I WAS CERTAIN THE INSTRUCTION HAD BEEN TO HOLD SHORT RWY 21R AT TXWY A, I APOLOGIZED AND DECIDED TO LOOK AT THE TXWY DIAGRAM LATER. IN THE FUTURE, I WILL CLARIFY XING INSTRUCTIONS AT LUNKEN, IN PARTICULAR WHERE A CLRNC REQUIRES XING A RWY TWICE.
