Narrative:

Worked aircraft jan/sat/02, removed and reinstalled filler on #1 engine between blades 18 and 19 per maintenance manual. Was told it was not properly installed. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated both technicians assigned the job had never been trained on the installation of the annulus fillers that are installed between the fan blades. The reporter said the difference between fillers is the number of tabs on the blade end and the incorrect filler that was installed was 1 tab short. The reporter stated the airplane was stopped and the filler error corrected at a line station with no reported engine vibration.
