Narrative:

Four landing gear parts were sent for x-ray and magniflux inspection. The parts were rtned and during the receiving process, the x-ray report was misread. The component was tagged inadvertently as serviceable instead of rejected. There were four landing go around components sent for x-ray and magniflux. The magniflux report indicated all components passed inspection, the x-ray report indicated two of the landing gears failed inspection. During taxing for departure, the main gear collapsed damaging the aircraft float and hull. Passengers and baggage were removed. The flight was cancelled and the aircraft was up righted and taken to maintenance for repairs.

Title: A GT 73 MALLARD ON TAXI OUT FOR TKOF THE RIGHT MAIN LNDG GEAR COLLAPSED. CAUSED BY UNSERVICEABLE PARTS INSTALLATION.

Narrative: FOUR LNDG GEAR PARTS WERE SENT FOR X-RAY AND MAGNIFLUX INSPECTION. THE PARTS WERE RTNED AND DURING THE RECEIVING PROCESS, THE X-RAY RPT WAS MISREAD. THE COMPONENT WAS TAGGED INADVERTENTLY AS SERVICEABLE INSTEAD OF REJECTED. THERE WERE FOUR LNDG GAR COMPONENTS SENT FOR X-RAY AND MAGNIFLUX. THE MAGNIFLUX RPT INDICATED ALL COMPONENTS PASSED INSPECTION, THE X-RAY RPT INDICATED TWO OF THE LNDG GEARS FAILED INSPECTION. DURING TAXING FOR DEP, THE MAIN GEAR COLLAPSED DAMAGING THE ACFT FLOAT AND HULL. PAXS AND BAGGAGE WERE REMOVED. THE FLT WAS CANCELLED AND THE ACFT WAS UP RIGHTED AND TAKEN TO MAINT FOR REPAIRS.
