Narrative:

Taxiing out on taxiway Y at sjc for takeoff. Ground told us to taxi to runway 30R on taxiway Y, but we would have to taxi around a hawker jet, doing a runup at the end. Approaching the end of the runway, tower cleared us for takeoff. We were not able to taxi around the small jet on taxiway Y, so we took the runway at taxiway B back taxiing to taxiway a. We were not cleared to back taxi the runway.

Narrative: TAXIING OUT ON TXWY Y AT SJC FOR TAKEOFF. GND TOLD US TO TAXI TO RWY 30R ON TXWY Y, BUT WE WOULD HAVE TO TAXI AROUND A HAWKER JET, DOING A RUNUP AT THE END. APCHING THE END OF THE RWY, TWR CLRED US FOR TAKEOFF. WE WERE NOT ABLE TO TAXI AROUND THE SMALL JET ON TXWY Y, SO WE TOOK THE RWY AT TXWY B BACK TAXIING TO TXWY A.
