Narrative:

During climb out from ZZZ we started to have 'a' system hydraulic low pressure caution lights flickering. Pressure gauge was fluctuating full scale. After a brief period all hydraulic fluid was lost. After completing the loss of 'a' system checklist we returned to the ZZZ airport with an uneventful landing. The ground crew towed the airplane to the gate. Maintenance found a loose 'B' nut on the main supply line in #1 engine.
