Narrative:

Taxiing to runway 23 at hot. Called ZME at hold short line to get clearance and release. Returned to CTAF and announced taking runway 23 for departure. Looked on both finals for traffic -- visibility to the southwest was restr by haze and low sun angle. We saw no traffic. Taxied onto runway 23, then saw landing lights coming out of the haze for airplane landing on runway 5. Other aircraft saw us holding on runway and elected to go around. We heard no calls from him except a report on 'short final' after he was close enough for us to see his landing lights. No real conflict occurred other than the elective go around. We departed on runway 23 without incident. (Winds were light and variable.)
