Narrative:
During taxi out, due to distraction, an item on the checklist was missed. When cleared for takeoff and power was applied, confign warning horn sounded. Rejected takeoff, initiated below 10 KTS ground speed. Cleared runway. Reaccomplished checklist. Checked confign warning horn. Called ZZZ maintenance through dispatch. With ZZZ maintenance's concurrence, made logbook entry. Continued trip to hou, maintenance checked and cleared forms. Write up was entered as 'information write up only,' no system failures.
