Narrative:

On arrival, runway 18 at msy, encountered moderate turbulence with significant updrafts/downdrafts, caused the aircraft to exceed flap limitations by approximately 10 KTS on 2 occasions, which was followed by a windshear/missed approach commencing at approximately 1650 ft AGL. More moderate turbulence was encountered on the missed approach. Subsequently, an uneventful landing was made in msy where the exceedances were noted in the aircraft logbook.
