Narrative:

Deviated 350 ft below assigned altitude of 6000 ft MSL. I was PIC and pac. First officer made proper callouts for 2000 ft and 1000 ft to go. I just lost track of altitude awareness. When altitude alerter went off (300 ft low), I disconnected the autoplt and climbed back to 6000 ft MSL. Remainder of approach uneventful. The problem was inattn on my part as pac and PIC.
