Narrative:

Departing hkg runway 7R. FMC database did not show departure procedure as a database option. After takeoff, engaged autoplt, attempted to fly using heading select. Deviated from departure north of track. Departure was briefed extensively. Takeoff was 'packs off.' attention after takeoff divided due to minor pack reset problem (pack would not come on). ATC notified deviation from SID. Correction back to published SID. First time hong kong for all cockpit crew. FMC database terminology inconsistent with SID/filed route name.

Narrative: DEPARTING HKG RWY 7R. FMC DATABASE DID NOT SHOW DEP PROC AS A DATABASE OPTION. AFTER TKOF, ENGAGED AUTOPLT, ATTEMPTED TO FLY USING HDG SELECT. DEVIATED FROM DEP N OF TRACK. DEP WAS BRIEFED EXTENSIVELY. TKOF WAS 'PACKS OFF.' ATTN AFTER TKOF DIVIDED DUE TO MINOR PACK RESET PROB (PACK WOULD NOT COME ON). ATC NOTIFIED DEV FROM SID. CORRECTION BACK TO PUBLISHED SID. FIRST TIME HONG KONG FOR ALL COCKPIT CREW. FMC DATABASE TERMINOLOGY INCONSISTENT WITH SID/FILED RTE NAME.
