Narrative:

We had a delay of departure due to mechanical problem. A part was flown into cdg from lhr. We fixed that problem, reboarded passenger, took off 2-3 hours late. Within first 20 mins of flight, passenger and crew noticed abnormal looking flap on wing (left side). Most crew remained seated due to turbulence. Captain notified #1 flight attendant we had a problem and would land in 20 mins at lhr. We did normal safety checks and prepared to land.
