Narrative:

During radar vectors to visual approach to runway 7 at den airport, we were flying heading 270 degrees, descending from 11000 ft to 8000 ft. We were requested to expedite our descent through 8000 ft. A TA came on with traffic at 2 O'clock position of our position, climbing. We were descending 2000 FPM then we had an RA. I stopped descent at 8500 ft and maintained heading around 300 degrees. Meantime, the other traffic passed under and beside right side at 7300 ft. After having been clear of conflict, we proceeded to complete a final turn to runway 7.
