Narrative:

Descending into bwi, 12000-11000 ft, wheel well fire warning light flickered several times. First officer flying. Captain followed QRH. With the landing gear down, the warning light stayed out. Emergency declared with bwi approach. Cleared for straight-in to runway 10. Normal cabin preparation. After landing, requested emergency personnel to inspect aircraft exterior (wheel wells). Then taxied to gate and customers exited in the normal fashion.

Title: B737-200 CAPT DECLARED AN EMERGENCY WITH BWI APCH DUE TO A WHEEL WELL FIRE WARNING INDICATION. THEY LANDED UNEVENTFULLY AT BWI.

Narrative: DSNDING INTO BWI, 12000-11000 FT, WHEEL WELL FIRE WARNING LIGHT FLICKERED SEVERAL TIMES. FO FLYING. CAPT FOLLOWED QRH. WITH THE LNDG GEAR DOWN, THE WARNING LIGHT STAYED OUT. EMER DECLARED WITH BWI APCH. CLRED FOR STRAIGHT-IN TO RWY 10. NORMAL CABIN PREPARATION. AFTER LNDG, REQUESTED EMER PERSONNEL TO INSPECT ACFT EXTERIOR (WHEEL WELLS). THEN TAXIED TO GATE AND CUSTOMERS EXITED IN THE NORMAL FASHION.
