Narrative:

This happened at XXX airport on dec/xa/00 approximately XA30. I had 2 transit checks to do -- one on a B727, and the other one on a B757 aircraft respectively which arrived approximately 45-50 mins apart. During the walkaround, I found #2 brake on the B727 worn out below limits. As soon as I finished the walkaround, I approached the lead for late night shift who was already on the premises for help. The late night's lead sent 2 mechanics and 2 junior mechanics to replace that #2 brake. Since I was busy with the B757 transit check, I could not help. I witnessed the brake installation on the axle, but not the wheel installation. In XXX, where they found #2 tire flat before departure, reported that 'the brake keys were not aligned to the brake rotors.' both brake and tire were replaced after the flight.
