Narrative:

A male passenger became verbally abusive to his female companion (wife?). A male passenger, sitting behind this couple, notified me. Later, several passenger told me they thought he was going to become physically abusive, since he was screaming, swearing and threatening her. When I approached the couple, the woman asked me to please help her and also said that she wanted off the aircraft. The captain made the decision to remove both, thereby removing a very possible misconduct in-flight.
