Narrative:
I was coming back from myf going to cma via myf, ocn, ral, pom, vny, direct. While passing ocn, I made a mistake by turning to ral, which then pointed me directly through R2503. Not aware, I continued to ral until ATC (socal) advised me of the restr airspace and gave me a vector out of the airspace. I followed their directions, then just waited for them to clear me to turn toward ral. In my part I had neglected to look for any restr airspace, and poor WX planning. My initial planning was to follow coast to camarillo, but due to poor WX, I decided to head inland, which took me to the restr area. Lesson learned.
