Narrative:
We were cleared for an RNAV approach. At the same time we were switched over from approach frequency to tower frequency, I began focusing on some traffic that we were following to the runway. This traffic distracted me from switching frequencys. When I transmitted on tower with a question she told me to go over to tower. In the future, I will be more careful to quickly change over to the new frequency.
