Narrative:

Flaps failed to move after selecting 5-10 degrees. Flaps stayed at 5 degrees. We leveled off and looked for circuit breakers out then proceeded to review alternate flap procedures checklist. Also contacted dispatch to verify landing performance to btv runway 15 for flaps 15 degrees. Then we went through alternate flaps non normal checklist and landed. Landing and taxi to the gate were normal without any event. Supplemental information from acn 489851: the flaps were lowered to 15 degrees using the 'alternate flap extension' system and landing was accomplished in normal sequence.

Narrative: FLAPS FAILED TO MOVE AFTER SELECTING 5-10 DEGS. FLAPS STAYED AT 5 DEGS. WE LEVELED OFF AND LOOKED FOR CIRCUIT BREAKERS OUT THEN PROCEEDED TO REVIEW ALTERNATE FLAP PROCS CHKLIST.
