Narrative:

On sadde arrival descending at 280 KTS, cleared to 8000 ft by ATC. AFDS mode was flight level change, speed knob set to 250 KTS. Became distraction looking for traffic and passing through 10000 ft before deceleration was complete.

Narrative: ON SADDE ARR DSNDING AT 280 KTS, CLRED TO 8000 FT BY ATC. AFDS MODE WAS FLT LEVEL CHANGE, SPD KNOB SET TO 250 KTS. BECAME DISTR LOOKING FOR TFC AND PASSING THROUGH 10000 FT BEFORE DECELERATION WAS COMPLETE.
