Narrative:

Given clearance for pampus special departure runway 1L. Passing through 700 ft MSL, given turn to 045 degrees by tower. This turn approximates pampus departure. No other communication between tower and aircraft till frequency change. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: flight crew was issued the pampus 'special' departure which is valid from xyoo to AB00 local time. The flight was delayed past AB00 and ATC did not change the departure to pampus departure. The tower controller issued a vector which approximated the pampus departure.

Narrative: GIVEN CLRNC FOR PAMPUS SPECIAL DEP RWY 1L. PASSING THROUGH 700 FT MSL, GIVEN TURN TO 045 DEGS BY TWR. THIS TURN APPROXIMATES PAMPUS DEP. NO OTHER COM BTWN TWR AND ACFT TILL FREQ CHANGE. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: FLC WAS ISSUED THE PAMPUS 'SPECIAL' DEP WHICH IS VALID FROM XYOO TO AB00 LCL TIME. THE FLT WAS DELAYED PAST AB00 AND ATC DID NOT CHANGE THE DEP TO PAMPUS DEP. THE TWR CTLR ISSUED A VECTOR WHICH APPROXIMATED THE PAMPUS DEP.
