Narrative:
While en route from akr to owb at 12500 ft MSL on aug/xa/00 around XA00 on flight following, I was advised by ZID that I had 'clipped the tip' of restr airspace. I was told to call when I landed. I did so and was told to call the following morning. I did so, and got an answering machine. I left my name, n-number and office phone number on the machine. I have not received a return call as yet. My GPS showed the restr area (jefferson proving ground) (R3403A) and I felt I was missing it. I was deviating off course near that area to avoid high cells. Perhaps I did inadvertently cross the top. In the future, I will select a clrer scale on my GPS and stay clear by at least 5 mi.
