Narrative:

We expected an approach to runway 16L at sea. Received vectors for approach and executed approach. In close, were directed to go around by tower. On go around, we were told by tower that we had been cleared to land on runway 16R. Tape revealed that PNF had read back 'cleared to land runway 16L.' uneventful go around and subsequent approach. Supplemental information from acn 482271: tower directed due to crossing traffic on runway 16L. Factors: fatigue, vague approach clearance on downwind, vague readback of approach cleared to by PNF. Supplemental information from acn 482269: factor is 4 night legs.
