Narrative:

We have a known tree visibility problem around the airport and tower. Airport management is now in the process of creating a noise abatement tree row surrounding the southwest edge of the airport. In no time this will obscure the rest of the airport that we can so far still see from our 36 ft (to the floor) (50 ft to the roof) tower. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter returned call regarding trees at and near the airport obstructing the tower controller's view of some portions of the movement area. Reporter said the facility manager has tried to work with the airport manager but is told the trees are on private property. Reporter said controllers cannot see the approach part of the main runway because of the trees.
