Narrative:

Upon arriving at the gate in bdl, I found an 'open write-up' in the aircraft logbook. When we departed msp, there was a mistake concerning an MEL item. Maintenance took the logbook, corrected the MEL, and no one noticed a second logbook discrepancy behind the divider (both crew and maintenance). When the 'open write-up' was discovered, the captain notified maintenance control, chief pilot's office, and the safety officer. A mechanic came out and signed off the open item. The flight continued normally.
