Narrative:

Master caution at approximately 100 KTS. Rejected as first officer called APU oil pressure light. DC9-50 (-15 engines) approximately 3200 ft down 10000 ft runway approximately 109000 pounds maximum gross weight. Aircraft had been on MEL for APU, but MEL cleared for flight just before release. Problem had been history of APU write-ups. While waiting for maintenance decision to spare or cancel flight (approximately 40 mins), brake temperatures peaked about 220 degrees. Wrote up logbook and flight continued in spare aircraft.
