Narrative:

The right 'bleed trip off' light illuminated approximately 20 seconds into takeoff roll. I rejected the takeoff. On the previous flight the same light had illuminated during climb through 27;000 ft and remained illuminated for the duration of the return flight. After our return; maintenance replaced a sensor; followed by a five minute run-up test at 80% N1. When the light returned during the subsequent takeoff roll I was concerned that it could be caused by a more serious threat of uncontained hot; high pressure bleed air and would be safer handled on the ground. I aborted the takeoff when the light illuminated 20 KTS below V1. Total runway used from the start of the roll to rejected takeoff stop: 4;500 ft. Runway remaining after rejected takeoff: 7;500 ft.

Title: A B737NG flight crew rejected their takeoff 20 KTS below V1 when they received a Bleed Trip Off light. Maintenance had just been performed on the bleed system following a turnback due to the light illuminating late in the previous departure climbout.
