Narrative:

After takeoff on climb out at 500 ft AGL, the duct leak warning went off. Asked ATC for a box pattern, vectors to run checklist. Executed checklist and proceeded to shut down left engine. Declared an emergency and asked for vectors to final. Landed without incident. Taxied in to gate, deplaned people.
