Narrative:

Our company special pages specifically said call for pushback if at gate xxy, we were at XXX. I had never been at gate XXX before. As we pushed back, ground control called, informing us that we had pushed without clearance. Buried in the NOTAMS was instruction to call for push from all gates. Information saturation caused us to miss this change from previous procedure. Gate XXX is a new gate. There was no conflict with other aircraft, but the ground controller seemed irritated. Supplemental information from acn 469548: there was no sign posted outside at the gate to contact ground.
