Narrative:

During vectors for runway 27L at ord, chicago reconfigured to land runway 14R/depart runway 27L. During subsequent vectors to ILS runway 14R, localizer frequency was misset causing a fly-through of the localizer course. ATC then gave us a vector to reintercept and a subsequent visual to runway 14R. At the time we had been held at 4000 ft 250 KIAS, which precluded a safe approach and landing. We initiated a go around and were vectored to an uneventful approach and landing on runway 14R. No traffic conflict or deviations were noted by ATC or on the TCASII.
