Narrative:

After disconnecting from tug, bos ground control issued clearance 'follow company B737 at taxiway K2 to taxiway K to taxiway C to taxiway D, hold short of runway 27'. While taxiing up taxiway C, but prior to turning onto taxiway D, we reconfirmed our runway was runway 27. Just prior to crossing runway 33L on taxiway D, an air carrier aircraft was given takeoff clearance on runway 33L. We continued through intersection of runway 33L and taxiway D. Tower told aircraft Y to abort takeoff. We asked ground if perhaps we had misunderstood our clearance but after a pause he simply told us to switch over to tower. We were not told to call anyone at any time.
