Narrative:

Left engine reverser was MEL'ed and pinned closed. However, on takeoff, the left amber rev light appeared above the left EPR gauge. Takeoff was rejected at about 30 KTS. No brakes or reverse was needed to exit the runway. Returned to the gate and the discrepancy was written in the aircraft logbook.

Title: ACR B757 FLC ABORT TKOF WHEN L ENG REVERSER LIGHT IS DISPLAYED. THE L ENG REVERSER HAD PREVIOUSLY BEEN MEL'ED AND PINNED CLOSED.

Narrative: L ENG REVERSER WAS MEL'ED AND PINNED CLOSED. HOWEVER, ON TKOF, THE L AMBER REV LIGHT APPEARED ABOVE THE L EPR GAUGE. TKOF WAS REJECTED AT ABOUT 30 KTS. NO BRAKES OR REVERSE WAS NEEDED TO EXIT THE RWY. RETURNED TO THE GATE AND THE DISCREPANCY WAS WRITTEN IN THE ACFT LOGBOOK.
