Narrative:

On initial descent into grr, a 'left oil filter clogged' message illuminated. As per our poh we brought power to idle on the left engine. The message did not extinguish, so as per the checklist we secured the left engine. We then declared an emergency and proceeded to the grr airport for an uneventful landing on runway 35.

Narrative: ON INITIAL DSCNT INTO GRR, A 'L OIL FILTER CLOGGED' MESSAGE ILLUMINATED. AS PER OUR POH WE BROUGHT PWR TO IDLE ON THE L ENG. THE MESSAGE DID NOT EXTINGUISH, SO AS PER THE CHKLIST WE SECURED THE L ENG. WE THEN DECLARED AN EMER AND PROCEEDED TO THE GRR ARPT FOR AN UNEVENTFUL LNDG ON RWY 35.
