Narrative:

Passenger stood up during taxi in and retrieved her roll-aboard suitcase from the overhead bin. Flight attendant #2 made a PA announcement for her to replace suitcase and resume her seat. Passenger was non compliant, and flight attendant #2 had to get up, seat ms X and move the luggage from the main cabin aisle to the aft coat compartment. After passenger deplaned, ms X came aft to get her suitcase and started yelling at flight attendant #2 and pointing her finger in her face. Flight attendant #2 tried to explain the safety issues involved, but ms X kept yelling and pushed her. When flight attendant #2 said 'do not push, please,' ms X pushed her again -- hard enough to jam her against the armrests. The captain and first officer had left already, and the gate agent did not know whom to contact for detaining this woman, who was permitted to board her connecting flight to west palm beach. (Note: passenger spoke english -- no language problem was involved.) main problem was passenger non compliance and assault on a crew member. This situation, in my judgement, was exacerbated by allowing passenger to bring so much carry-on baggage aboard.

Title: FLT ATTENDANT RPT, S80, LAX-DFW, TAXI-IN, PAX STOOD UP AND TOOK BAG FROM OVERHEAD AND PLACED IN AISLE AND PUSHED FLT ATTENDANT HARD INTO SEAT ARMRESTS.

Narrative: PAX STOOD UP DURING TAXI IN AND RETRIEVED HER ROLL-ABOARD SUITCASE FROM THE OVERHEAD BIN. FLT ATTENDANT #2 MADE A PA ANNOUNCEMENT FOR HER TO REPLACE SUITCASE AND RESUME HER SEAT. PAX WAS NON COMPLIANT, AND FLT ATTENDANT #2 HAD TO GET UP, SEAT MS X AND MOVE THE LUGGAGE FROM THE MAIN CABIN AISLE TO THE AFT COAT COMPARTMENT. AFTER PAX DEPLANED, MS X CAME AFT TO GET HER SUITCASE AND STARTED YELLING AT FLT ATTENDANT #2 AND POINTING HER FINGER IN HER FACE. FLT ATTENDANT #2 TRIED TO EXPLAIN THE SAFETY ISSUES INVOLVED, BUT MS X KEPT YELLING AND PUSHED HER. WHEN FLT ATTENDANT #2 SAID 'DO NOT PUSH, PLEASE,' MS X PUSHED HER AGAIN -- HARD ENOUGH TO JAM HER AGAINST THE ARMRESTS. THE CAPT AND FO HAD LEFT ALREADY, AND THE GATE AGENT DID NOT KNOW WHOM TO CONTACT FOR DETAINING THIS WOMAN, WHO WAS PERMITTED TO BOARD HER CONNECTING FLT TO WEST PALM BEACH. (NOTE: PAX SPOKE ENGLISH -- NO LANGUAGE PROB WAS INVOLVED.) MAIN PROB WAS PAX NON COMPLIANCE AND ASSAULT ON A CREW MEMBER. THIS SIT, IN MY JUDGEMENT, WAS EXACERBATED BY ALLOWING PAX TO BRING SO MUCH CARRY-ON BAGGAGE ABOARD.
