Narrative:

XA01Z, socal departure, ont. While flying the prado 5 departure out of ont, I leveled off at assigned altitude of 3000 ft. When I leveled off, I noticed the airspeed was increasing, so I retarded the throttles. When I looked back at the altimeter, I realized I was climbing, passing approximately 3240 ft. I immediately applied forward pressure on the yoke and arrested the climb at approximately 3300 ft. In the process of returning to the assigned altitude, the airspeed increased to approximately 270 KIAS. Upon reaching the pdz VOR, we were back on airspeed and altitude. No conflicts occurred.
