Flight from fll to isp. Nyc issued crossing restr at briggs, FL210. Aircraft descended from FL280. During descent, captain intent on completing approach briefing. At 36 DME (fix was 40 DME) attempted to tell her I thought she was high and not going to make it. Before I could say it, new york queried as to whether we were assigned a crossing restr. Replied affirmative, crossed briggs at FL218. Factors: new captain, young female, semi new to aircraft and autoplt functions. Wanted to demonstrate confidence and leadership. Approach briefing loud and continuous (no breaks).
