Narrative:

In a climb to FL330 ATC told us to stop at FL310. We did, but I forgot to change the altitude window to FL310. Then I started a PA and the first officer pushed the performance cruise. I guess there was a small climb at that time because we did not notice that the aircraft was in a small climb until ATC asked us what our altitude was. The first officer immediately returned to FL310 and an apology was made to ATC. This was my fault for not putting FL310 in window and not monitoring things during a PA.
