Narrative:
About 1 hour 20 mins after takeoff, had 2 small returns appear on radar. Switched to 20 mi range. The returns were about 1 mi in size and too close to turn around them. Went between them and encountered moderate turbulence. No passenger injuries, but 3 flight attendants injured. 1 skinned knee, 1 bruised back, and 1 sprained ankle. Notified company.

Title: A B777 FLC ENCOUNTERED MODERATE TURB WHICH CAUSED INJURY TO 3 FLT ATTENDANTS NEAR COCBU, PUERTO RICO.
Narrative: ABOUT 1 HR 20 MINS AFTER TKOF, HAD 2 SMALL RETURNS APPEAR ON RADAR. SWITCHED TO 20 MI RANGE. THE RETURNS WERE ABOUT 1 MI IN SIZE AND TOO CLOSE TO TURN AROUND THEM. WENT BTWN THEM AND ENCOUNTERED MODERATE TURB. NO PAX INJURIES, BUT 3 FLT ATTENDANTS INJURED. 1 SKINNED KNEE, 1 BRUISED BACK, AND 1 SPRAINED ANKLE. NOTIFIED COMPANY.
