Narrative:
On jul/xa/99, I placarded the lift dumper system on aircraft xyz. PIREP stated that there was an MFDU lift dumper fault on landing. I decided to placard the complete lift dumper system per MEL item #xx-yy. I did not accomplish the MEL procedure correctly.

Narrative: ON JUL/XA/99, I PLACARDED THE LIFT DUMPER SYS ON ACFT XYZ. PIREP STATED THAT THERE WAS AN MFDU LIFT DUMPER FAULT ON LNDG. I DECIDED TO PLACARD THE COMPLETE LIFT DUMPER SYS PER MEL ITEM #XX-YY. I DID NOT ACCOMPLISH THE MEL PROC CORRECTLY.
