Narrative:

At termination of flight from las to iah, aircraft was being marshalled into parking at terminal X, gate X, by a ground crew. The captain and I both noted that the jetbridge was in an unusual position in that it was very low -- possibly full down. The position of the jetbridge and our aircraft was obvious to the marshaller at all times. The captain centered the aircraft on the taxi-in line from the taxiway and proceeded straight ahead very slowly, following the marshaller's signals. As we pulled up, the jetbridge disappeared from my view to the left. The marshaller signaled to proceed until in position and then gave the first and only stop signal and the captain stopped the aircraft. All checklists were accomplished at the appropriate times. As passenger were deplaning, we were informed by our maintenance personnel that we had a large scratch and small puncture in the forward left fuselage between doors L1 and L2 below the window row. Apparently the marshaller failed to ensure adequate clearance and marshaled us into the jetbridge.

Title: ACFT CONTACTS JETBRIDGE WHILE BEING GUIDED BY GND PERSONNEL.

Narrative: AT TERMINATION OF FLT FROM LAS TO IAH, ACFT WAS BEING MARSHALLED INTO PARKING AT TERMINAL X, GATE X, BY A GND CREW. THE CAPT AND I BOTH NOTED THAT THE JETBRIDGE WAS IN AN UNUSUAL POS IN THAT IT WAS VERY LOW -- POSSIBLY FULL DOWN. THE POS OF THE JETBRIDGE AND OUR ACFT WAS OBVIOUS TO THE MARSHALLER AT ALL TIMES. THE CAPT CTRED THE ACFT ON THE TAXI-IN LINE FROM THE TXWY AND PROCEEDED STRAIGHT AHEAD VERY SLOWLY, FOLLOWING THE MARSHALLER'S SIGNALS. AS WE PULLED UP, THE JETBRIDGE DISAPPEARED FROM MY VIEW TO THE L. THE MARSHALLER SIGNALED TO PROCEED UNTIL IN POS AND THEN GAVE THE FIRST AND ONLY STOP SIGNAL AND THE CAPT STOPPED THE ACFT. ALL CHKLISTS WERE ACCOMPLISHED AT THE APPROPRIATE TIMES. AS PAX WERE DEPLANING, WE WERE INFORMED BY OUR MAINT PERSONNEL THAT WE HAD A LARGE SCRATCH AND SMALL PUNCTURE IN THE FORWARD L FUSELAGE BTWN DOORS L1 AND L2 BELOW THE WINDOW ROW. APPARENTLY THE MARSHALLER FAILED TO ENSURE ADEQUATE CLRNC AND MARSHALED US INTO THE JETBRIDGE.
