After taxi in and following receipt of 'chocks in' signal captain released parking brakes. Aircraft rolled back a few inches into chocks and captain reset parking brakes. Main cabin door, opened by agent, pressed against the jetbridge safety gate. No visible damage was noted on aircraft. A precautionary logbook entry was made.

Title: DC9 ACFT WAS PARKED WITH BRAKES SET WHEN GND CREW SIGNALED THAT CHOCKS WERE IN PLACE. RPTR CAPT RELEASED THE BRAKES AND THE ACFT ROLLED BACK A FEW INCHES TO THE POINT THAT THE MAIN CABIN DOOR, NOW OPEN, PRESSED AGAINST THE JETBRIDGE SAFETY GATE. NO DAMAGE NOTED.
