Narrative:

After landing runway 18R at dfw with a lahso clearance, an aircraft was crossed at taxiway a. We had touched down at approximately 1500 ft and were decelerating normally when the crossing aircraft was cleared. I was satisfied we would clear the runway prior to taxiway B and did. FAA inspector in the jump seat was uncomfortable with the fact the crossing aircraft was on runway while we were rolling out. I too, would prefer to have the runway to myself and would like to see further clarification of pilot and controller responsibilities regarding lahso clrncs.
