Narrative:
While flying VFR sbound along the coast, my LORAN gave me information that did not appear accurate based on ground references and time. When I got the AFB in sight, it became obvious I was in restr airspace R-2516. As soon as I realized my position, I took the most expeditious route clear.

Title: PLT OF AN SEL SMA INADVERTENTLY PENETRATED RESTR AIRSPACE.
Narrative: WHILE FLYING VFR SBOUND ALONG THE COAST, MY LORAN GAVE ME INFO THAT DID NOT APPEAR ACCURATE BASED ON GND REFS AND TIME. WHEN I GOT THE AFB IN SIGHT, IT BECAME OBVIOUS I WAS IN RESTR AIRSPACE R-2516. AS SOON AS I REALIZED MY POS, I TOOK THE MOST EXPEDITIOUS RTE CLR.
