Narrative:

We were climbing to our cruise altitude and as we were climbing through 15000 ft, my first officer and I noticed a sound of air in the cockpit. We considered a descent to a lower altitude as a precaution. Before the decision could be made, there was a pop and the cabin altitude started an uncontrolled rate of ascent. Using normal and emergency procedures, which included an emergency descent, we returned to our takeoff airport.
