Narrative:
Aircraft X departed from gri (a VFR tower). I radar idented aircraft and did not depart aircraft X into system. The aircraft then deviated into ZDV's airspace and corrective action was taken. I think if the system would automatically depart aircraft, this situation would never happen again. The problem was human error. I was busy with other sits, and thought I had departed the aircraft, only to find out the button was not pushed.
