Narrative:

Aircraft wingtip damaged as per notification 6 hours later. No one including pilots and flight attendants saw or felt any obstruction. Under control of signal man at the time. Airport personnel on same side as damage not present at emergency stop button. Mechanic on patchcord did not notify crew of any problems. Damage may have occurred after aircraft parked.

ARPT PERSONNEL ON SAME SIDE AS DAMAGE NOT PRESENT AT EMER STOP BUTTON. MECH ON PATCHCORD DID NOT NOTIFY CREW OF ANY PROBS. DAMAGE MAY HAVE OCCURRED AFTER ACFT PARKED.
