Narrative:

New captain taxiing out after first international flight. New copilot first time either flown together. Cleared to taxi to runway 35. Monitoring switches as taxi progressed. Setting all for before takeoff. Watching other aircraft. As turned corner, missed seeing new ILS hold line which was before what looked similar to a hold for takeoff area. Noticed partially removed old hold line stopped on top of it. No traffic on final, next to go. Tower advised that in the future we should hold at the line, then cleared us for takeoff. We acknowledged the mistake and they said no problem. This probably settled the problem that could have been much worse. Contributing factors: this was the third in a string of long duty days -- rather infrequent flying time (compared to past), crew new to each other and aircraft. A bit too relaxed after coming back to familiar (domestic) flying conditions. Corrective action will be to take it a bit slower with the new crew members so I don't have to do my job and theirs (actually checking to see they did theirs).

Title: FLC OF A BEECH JET 400, BE40, OVERSHOT THE ILS HOLD LINE AND STOPPED OVER THE HOLD SHORT LINE RESULTING IN THE TWR CTLR ADVISING THEM OF THEIR MISTAKE AND THEN CLRING THEM FOR TKOF.

Narrative: NEW CAPT TAXIING OUT AFTER FIRST INTL FLT. NEW COPLT FIRST TIME EITHER FLOWN TOGETHER. CLRED TO TAXI TO RWY 35. MONITORING SWITCHES AS TAXI PROGRESSED. SETTING ALL FOR BEFORE TKOF. WATCHING OTHER ACFT. AS TURNED CORNER, MISSED SEEING NEW ILS HOLD LINE WHICH WAS BEFORE WHAT LOOKED SIMILAR TO A HOLD FOR TKOF AREA. NOTICED PARTIALLY REMOVED OLD HOLD LINE STOPPED ON TOP OF IT. NO TFC ON FINAL, NEXT TO GO. TWR ADVISED THAT IN THE FUTURE WE SHOULD HOLD AT THE LINE, THEN CLRED US FOR TKOF. WE ACKNOWLEDGED THE MISTAKE AND THEY SAID NO PROB. THIS PROBABLY SETTLED THE PROB THAT COULD HAVE BEEN MUCH WORSE. CONTRIBUTING FACTORS: THIS WAS THE THIRD IN A STRING OF LONG DUTY DAYS -- RATHER INFREQUENT FLYING TIME (COMPARED TO PAST), CREW NEW TO EACH OTHER AND ACFT. A BIT TOO RELAXED AFTER COMING BACK TO FAMILIAR (DOMESTIC) FLYING CONDITIONS. CORRECTIVE ACTION WILL BE TO TAKE IT A BIT SLOWER WITH THE NEW CREW MEMBERS SO I DON'T HAVE TO DO MY JOB AND THEIRS (ACTUALLY CHKING TO SEE THEY DID THEIRS).
