Narrative:

Parking in severe thunderstorm, marshaller and wing walker motioned aircraft into belt loader. Damage to #3 engine cowl and oil cooler door was slight, but required pylon inspection. Damage to belt loader, destroyed steering wheel and driver seat. Marshaller and wing walker continued to request forward aircraft movement even after first officer saw accident and directed me to stop. Cause: ground crew was not watching aircraft taxi into parking (had rain hoods blocking their vision).
